The CORE Institute Delivers Three Thousand Toys to The Salvation Army

The CORE Institute’s Annual Holiday Toy Drive Brings Holiday Cheer to Families in Need

The CORE Institute delivered three thousand toys to The Salvation Army in Phoenix as part of the company’s 7th annual Forgotten Angels Toy Drive. The toy drive benefits children who did not receive a donated gift as part of The Salvation Army’s Christmas Angel program.

Press Release – Phoenix, AZ (December 18, 2018) – Physicians and staff at The CORE Institute® teamed up with The Salvation Army for the seventh year in a row to help local families have a joyous Christmas. The CORE Institute’s Annual Forgotten Angels Toy Drive aimed to fill the gap on donation requests and deliver thousands of toys for children in Arizona, as well as Michigan. The CORE Institute employees together collected three thousand toys.

The Salvation Army hosts Christmas Angel trees to help members of the community donate gifts to families who cannot afford to buy presents. Their Forgotten Angel program is for the approximately 5,000 children whose Christmas Angel tags are either never taken from the tree or taken but not returned. The CORE Institute supports the Salvation Army with donated toys to help ensure every child in the program gets a gift and no one is forgotten.

“The Salvation Army is an incredible resource for families in need, and we are proud to help them make children’s lives just a little bit better this Christmas,” said Allison Horn, SVP, Marketing, Branding and Sales. “From our physicians to our nurses, and all our support teams, everyone at The CORE Institute has taken part our annual Forgotten Angels Toy Drive and helped us gather thousands of toys for kids who might have otherwise been forgotten.”

The CORE Institute collected toy donations at its 20 offices throughout the Valley, including offices in Phoenix, Mesa, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Peoria, Surprise, Sun City and Sun City West.

“Just as we are dedicated to serving our patients, we are passionate about serving our local communities,” said Horn. “We treasure the opportunity to partner with The Salvation Army to benefit families across the Valley this holiday season.”
