The SEAL Future Fund (SFF) Provides Resources to Equip Active Duty and Veteran Navy SEALs for Success in the Civilian World
New York, NY (June 18, 2014) – The SEAL Future Fund (SFF), a non-profit organization created to support continuing education and career development for active and veteran Navy SEALs, announced today their inaugural scholarship initiatives and open enrollment application period for qualified candidates.
The SEAL Future Fund has announced their application requirements to qualified active duty, reserve or former SEALs offering ten (10), $5,000 scholarships to candidates enrolled in an accredited college or university for the 2014-2015 academic year. Applications are downloadable from the SFF website and require an accompanying essay, (2) recommendation letters, proof of enrollment and proof of active duty or proof of honorable discharge from the Navy (form DD-214). The application deadline is August 1, 2014 and award announcements will be made on August 31, 2014.

Navy SEALs are among the most highly trained professionals in the world, serving as paragons of leadership, teamwork, resolution, and focus. The SFF was created to accelerate SEALs’ transitions into civilian life in a manner that harnesses and builds upon their strengths and capabilities.
