Madame Tussauds New York recently hosted children from The Children’s Aid Society for an all-expenses-paid day of fun courtesy of company charity, Merlin’s Magic Wand.
Madame Tussauds New York’s parent company, Merlin Entertainments plc (Merlin), started charity Merlin’s Magic Wand to provide fun days out for seriously ill, disabled or disadvantaged children at all Merlin’s attractions around the world; and works with local organisations to fund specialist play areas for those children too sick to visit.
This visit to Madame Tussauds New York was part of a very special global event to celebrate the opening of Merlin’s 100th attraction this year. The children from The Children’s Aid Society were joined by thousands of other children across the 22 countries in which Merlin operates.
