Parents, friends, or teachers can submit photos of their child or children reading their favorite book. Co-sponsored by The Children’s Book Council and Children’s Book Week, the contest is being conducted through Facebook, which allows for easy sharing of the photos.

The contest will culminate along with Children’s Book Week on May 18. The photos with the most votes in the categories of ages Newborn to 4, 5 to 9, 10 to 12 and also a group photo category, which is catered towards classrooms and schools, will be featured on the Pubslush and CBC websites and the winners will receive book bundles packed with age appropriate titles.
