On Monday, February 23, iconic actress Goldie Hawn joined Starkey Hearing Foundation (SHF) in India to help provide free hearing aids to people in need. Her work with the foundation comes just several weeks after her daughter Kate Hudson and grandson Ryder traveled with the foundation on a mission to Cabo. The foundation is spending three weeks in India and will fit more than 13,000 prescreened patients. Each hearing aid recipient will also be counseled as to how to use their new devices and provided information about follow-up care. The hearing mission in India is one of dozens conducted around the world each year by the foundation. As part of their partnership with the Clinton Global Initiative, Starkey Hearing Foundation is committed to providing more than 1 million hearing aids to people in need between 2010-2020.
