RICHMOND, Va. (Dec. 22, 2015) — Health Warrior, a natural food brand with the top selling superfood snack Chia Bar, announces its 2015 Health Champion Award honorees. Created to publicize and lionize figures making a positive difference in food and fitness, the program expanded this year to include charitable donations that are aligned with the company’s mission to combat the challenges of the modern western diet and lifestyle.
The Health Champions received personalized, unique gifts related to the causes they support along with $1,000 donations to related organizations.

“It’s inspiring and important to celebrate individuals who have the drive to make the world a better place. This spirit and action is desperately needed in the food industry,” said Shane Emmett, CEO of Health Warrior. “We’re committed to doing everything we can to help move this industry forward.”
