Basking Ridge, N.J. (June 19, 2014) – Affinity Federal Credit Union, the State’s largest credit union, continued its commitment to the Garden State community with its 17th Annual Golf Invitational at the traditional 18-hole Stanton Ridge Golf and Country Club in Whitehouse Station on Monday, June 9th. An exclusive invitation-only event, proceeds from the outing support the Affinity Federal Credit Union Foundation’s philanthropic programs. The event raised a record $135,000.
Founded in 2005, the Foundation has been the cornerstone of Affinity’s commitment to the communities where its members live, work, worship and go to school. Funds raised through events such as the Golf Invitational are distributed among the Foundation’s financial literacy education programs, scholarships and local, grassroots charitable organizations. This is just one of the ways that Affinity is “Creating Something Better.”
