Personalized image campaign earns GTE second set of prestigious awards
Press Release – Tampa, Fla. (August 2, 2016) – GTE Financial today announced that it has received two awards from the Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) for its personalized marketing campaign, which was specifically developed to emotionally engage its audience. GTE won the gold award in the logo category for its “Reimagining Possible” design and the bronze award in the image enhancement category for its “Almost everyone loves GTE” commercial campaign at the 2016 MAC Awards. It is the second set of prestigious awards for GTE this year. The same two marketing components also won the 2016 CUNA Diamond Awards.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized in multiple categories again this year alongside such prestigious credit unions,” says Brian Best, president and CEO of GTE Financial. “Our team works hard to develop our unique and engaging marketing content, which is something we’re proud to share with our members and local community.”
GTE introduced its “Reimagining Possible” logo internally as a way to positively motivate employees to be their best and not to be afraid to reach their goals. The logo is a symbol of perseverance, positivity and reimagining what one can do to make a difference in their environment and it became the theme for last year. “Almost everyone loves GTE” commercials launched as a humorous way to let the market know about its virtual offerings.
The annual marketing awards competition recognized successful promotions across 17 categories and in three credit union asset-size categories. GTE was a winner among credit unions with more than $1 billion in assets. To view the 2016 winners and more information, visit www.macnetwork.org.
