Fifth Annual Ronald Mcdonald House® Celebrity Golf Outing Raises $600,000 to Help Families Battling Childhood Cancer

New York, July 30, 2014 – On Monday, July 21, Ronald McDonald House® New York hosted the Fifth annual celebrity golf tournament held at the Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, NJ, to raise $600,000 for children battling pediatric cancer with renowned athletes in attendance, including: former New York Giants running back O.J. Anderson, New York Yankee power hitter Cecil Fielder, New York Rangers winger Brian Mullen, middleweight boxer Daniel “Miracle Man” Jacobs, and many more.

The largest facility of its type, the funds raised will support operating costs of New York City’s ‘home away from home’ for children undergoing active treatment while battling cancer at one of the 19 nearby partnering hospitals. Ronald McDonald House® New York is the largest facility of its kind out of more than 300 worldwide.
