New York, NY – OUTDOOR RISE, New York City’s annual adventure festival featuring one-of-a-kind outdoor adventure experiences, returns June 21-27. Presented by Discover Outdoors, Outdoor Rise brings the spirit of adventure to the city through seven days of activities, classes, competitions, lectures, and films, with events open to the public in all five boroughs. Events are $5 each and all proceeds benefit the Discover Outdoors Foundation, a nonprofit program benefitting city youth through outdoor education. Registration is open to the public at www.OutdoorRise.com.
“This year, we’re increasing the positive impact of Outdoor Rise on our community,” says Discover Outdoors owner and adventure guide Kirk Reynolds. “Every time you participate in an event, you’ll support the Discover Outdoors Foundation, creating amazing opportunities for underserved kids and teens to experience outdoor adventure and education.”
