New CIO Brings Operational Excellence from Symantec, Altiris, Computing Edge and Microsoft
PROVO, Utah, April 15, 2014 — Vivint Solar, one of the largest U.S. residential solar providers, to announced that Dwain Kinghorn has been named as Chief Strategy and Innovations Officer and will align the company product portfolio with new business development channels. A long-time network security engineering executive, Kinghorn has played a key role in the operational success of Altiris and was instrumental in its platform adoption upon acquisition by Symantec Corporation.

Kinghorn joins Vivint Solar from SageCreek Partners, where he counseled technology clients to achieve market leadership using collective business methodologies and best practices in each stage of the lifecycle. Kinghorn started his career at Microsoft Corporation and then built networking software start up Computing Edge. As CTO at Altiris Inc., Kinghorn successfully orchestrated a dominant systems management platform from a global team of engineers for over seven years.
