Nathan’s Famous Continues Charitable Tradition Donates 100,000 Hot Dogs To Food Bank For NYC

Official Presentation to Take Place at Company’s Annual Hot Dog-Eating Contest in Coney Island

Jericho, NY, June 30, 2015 – On July 4th, Nathan’s Famous will donate 100,000 of its signature world famous beef hot dogs to Food Bank For New York City. The official presentation will take place during the company’s annual Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest in Coney Island, NY. With this gift, Nathan’s Famous will have donated a total of 800,000 hot dogs to Food Bank For New York City since 2008.

Nathan’s Famous President Wayne Norbitz will present the donation to a representative of Food Bank For New York City, which is part of the Feeding America network.

The donation ceremony will occur at the original Nathan’s Famous on Surf and Stillwell Avenues in Coney Island, NY, where the annual hot dog eating contest takes place. Each year tens of thousands gather to watch the biggest competitive eating event in the world, while millions watch the event on ESPN.
