Kentucky Child Care Providers Now Have Free Access New Resources to Improve Quality Care

4-C’s Innovative website for professionals launches TODAY

Friday, February 13, 2015 , Louisville, Ky – CCA For Social Good, an operating division of CCA Global Partners, and Community Coordinated Child Care (4-C) announce the re-launch of KYSharedServices.org, a website that delivers practical resources for early childhood education directors, family care providers, and teachers. Its goal is to help save time, reduce costs, and improve quality. Most simply, the platform helps its users manage their programs more efficiently.

A new feature of KYSharedServices.org is a section devoted to ending child abuse with dozens of resources to help child care providers recognize, report and prevent child abuse including information on ways providers can help strengthen families.

The website, which is sponsored by 4-C, originally launched in February of 2012. It has now been upgraded with a fresh new design and the inclusion of additional hands-on, everyday resources for child care providers in Kentucky. Through 4-C’s partnership with the Face It® Movement, all licensed child care providers in Jefferson County will receive an annual subscription free of charge.

“We’re proud to reveal the new KYSharedServices.org,” stated Janet Masterson, Executive Director of 4-C. “This new resource is Kentucky’s only website solely devoted to operating a child care business. It is an extensive knowledge hub with more than 1,200 resources. This one stop shop will save providers time, so they can devote their attention to caring for children.”

“The more resources we have at our fingertips the closer we can get to meeting our goal of ending child abuse in Jefferson County by 2023” stated Jerry Ward, Kosair Charities Chairman of the Board and Face It® Movement member, “We hope that child care workers in our area take full advantage of the resources this amazing platform has to offer. Together, we can Face it and End it.”

The site can be viewed by visiting www.KYSharedServices.org. Interested parties in Kentucky can receive access to the resources by filling out a New Member Request form.
